CITY MANAGER

Joe Pepplitsch has been the City Manager of Lexington, Nebraska, since April 2000. He also serves as City Clerk. He previously was the Assistant City Manager from March 1997 to April 2000. Prior to that he served as the City Administrator of Bloomfield, Nebraska, from 1994 to 1997. He also has served as an Administrative Intern for South Sioux City, Nebraska in 1994.

Joe has a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of South Dakota and a Bachelor's of Science Degree from the University of South Dakota.

Joe has served on the executive board of the Nebraska City/County Management Association since November 2005, and is currently President of the association. He received a 10 year service award from International City/County Management Association in 2004, and earned the ICMA Credentialed Manager designation in 2006.
