WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT

The used and dirty water that goes down your building drains travels through sewer pipes to Lexington’s wastewater treatment plant southeast of Lexington.  We clean up the water to meet or exceed state standards, before it is re-released into the environment.  Note:  Street drains (stormwater) lead directly into the environment, the water is not treated.  Please do not dump chemicals, detergents, paint, etc., into the stormwater drains.  Go to www.H2ONebraska.org for more information.
